Day 01
SL : Arrival / Negombo
On arrival you will be met by our English speaking Chauffeur Guide and the Airport staff who will offer assistance. Thereafter, proceed to Negombo, a small fishing town nearby ,for some much-needed rest. You can spend the days exploring the cobbled shops in Negombo and wade in the shallow seas to relax as well.
Day 02
Negombo / Pinnawala / Sigiriya
From Negombo, we will journey on to Pinnawala, where you can take a safari across the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. From there, we will journey on to Sigiriya, the Lion Rock, which is something you do not want to miss.
Day 03
Sigiriya / Polonnaruwa / Sigiriya
We will climb the Lion Rock and admire the vistas of old Sri Lanka. From there, we will journey towards Polonnaruwa, where you can experience amazing paintings, ruins and pagodas of those of the old kingdoms in Sri Lanka. Once we are done exploring we will return to Sigiriya for the night.
Day 04
Sigiriya / Kandy
From Sigiriya, we will make our way towards Kandy, which is the hill capital of Sri Lanka. On the first day, you can recover from the long drive by relaxing in the hotel, and do some shopping at the end of the day.
Day 05
Kandy
Enjoy a Kandy city tour as well as a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Before enjoying the evening at leisure, all Buddhists in Sri Lanka visit this hallowed site. You can also pay a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens.
Day 06
Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Upon arriving to Sri Lanka’s Little England, conduct a sightseeing including a visit to a Tea Factory/Plantation. You can spend the days relaxing at the top of the hills burrowed in a blanket and sipping hot cups
Day 07
Nuwara Eliya / Colombo
From Nuwara Eliya, you will journey towards Colombo, where you can indulge in some night life and have a shopping trip as well. Colombo also features many temples and museums that you can visit.
Day 08
Colombo / Airport / Male
From Colombo, we will journey to the airport and take a flight to Male.
Day 09 and 10
Male
Maldives’ thriving and bustling capital is a quirky city that offers the chance to witness the real ‘Maldivian’ way of life and interact with its locals. There are so many things to do in Malé to get a glimpse of the culture and traditions of the country that you’d definitely have the time of your life there. Surrounded by turquoise waters & built in a grid pattern, this densely populated island is a great place for wandering and exploring the lively markets, restaurants & cafes, pretty mosques, and museums. So, before you hit the tranquil island resorts in the Maldives, make sure you stop by at Malé& witness its beauty like a local for a couple of days.
Day 11
Male / Airport (Departure)
From Male, you will take a flight home and we hope to see you again soon!
