Day 01 & 02
Arrival / Kalpitiya, North West Coastal
From your pick up at the airport transfer straight to Kalpitiya on the north west coast for the first three nights of your trip. There you can experience the amazing beaches untouched by tourism at a mass scale.
Day 03
Wilpattu National Park, North West Coast
If you need to explore the natural beauty of wildlife, wilpatthu is an ideal national park which you are able to visit. Wilpattu includes the Little egret, the Yellow Bittern, the Spoonbill, the Purple Coot, ruffs, the Indian stone curlew, and even the Ceylon lorikeet. The peacock might make the dry plains of the park its dance floor as a drizzle gently showers the wilderness.
Day 04
Anuradhapura, Cultural Triangle
After Breakfast and leave for Anuradhapura Ancient City. Anuradhapura is the birthplace of Sinhala civilization & one of the world’s largest archeological sites. It is considered as the greatest monastic city of the ancient world, & was founded in the 5th century BC. Do the ancient tour of Anuradhapura. Visit all major highlights of the Ancient city of Anuradhapura.
Day 05
Mannar, North West Coast
Mannar is the main town of Mannar District, Northern Province, Sri Lanka. It is governed by an Urban Council. The town is located on Mannar Island overlooking the Gulf of Mannar and is home to the historic Ketheeswaram temple, which you can visit during this tour.
Day 06, 07 & 08
Jaffna
Jaffna was the capital of a Tamil kingdom for centuries before it was conquered by Europeans, and the city still has many distinctive Tamil cultural characteristics. Jaffna fell under Portuguese rule in 1619 and was their last possession in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) before its capture by the Dutch in 1658. The name Jaffna is a Portuguese adaptation of a Tamil word meaning “port of the lyre.” A fort and a church remain from the Dutch period, and near the fort is a famous Hindu temple, KandaswamyKovil. On these three days, you can visit all the major attractions of Jaffna.
Day 09, 10 & 11
Trincomalee, East Coast
Visit Trincomalee. Trincomalee is a port city on the northeast coast of Sri Lanka. Set on a peninsula, Fort Frederick was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century. Within its grounds, the grand Koneswaram Temple stands on Swami Rock cliff, a popular vantage point for blue-whale watching. The holy complex contains ornate shrines and a massive statue of Shiva. Nearby Gokanna Temple has panoramic views over the city and the coastline.
Day 12
Dambulla, Cultural Triangle
Dambulla is a town situated in the north of Matale District, Central Province of Sri Lanka. It is the second largest populated and urbanisedcentre after Matale in the Matale District. It is situated 148 km north-east of Colombo, 43 km north of Matale and 72 km north of Kandy. You can visit all the temples, the Cave Temple of Dambulla and all other attractions under the Cultural Triangle on your 12th day.
Day 13
Kotugoda, Northwest Coastal, and Departure
We will journey toward the coast in Kotugoda on your last day before transporting you to the airport.
